Dear Clients.

Our Shared server is down from yesterday and we are fixing it with a new server. Due to crash of that server our DC is still working to get a backup from RAID array, Unfortunately as per information from DC backups will not guarantee. Here are information from DC about this incident.

------------------------------------------------------------

This is sadly like the hardware failure faced a few years ago on bromine, these aging servers sadly we cannot control when they will just drop out so we have newer gear we have been deploying customers on.

If we get you setup on a new account while attempt to recover data from the broken RAID set do you have any other backups we can restore in the meantime?

the crash was related to the below cPanel CVE:

https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/40073787579671-Security-CVE-2026-41940-cPanel-WHM-WP2-Security-Update-04-28-2026

That is something we sadly have no control over and have patched all our systems but appears this one could have been breached before we patched them on 4/28/26. We also have a degraded RAID array that doesn't want to boot so between both of those scenarios we are attempting a full disaster recovery

The backups we take are located in /backups/ on the same server for this specific old cPanel system, that was either wiped out by the CVE in cPanel's software or the RAID array issue which is what we are attempting to recover currently.

------------------------------------------------------------

Therefor in this situation, Our management decided to provide the free 3 month extend for all shared hosting account. We will send new cPanel accounts one by one to your email. You can upload your local backups to back online your sites. (you can submit a support ticket for any help.) Feel free to contact us for any inquiry.

Thank you.
